Departments to work in

Reception and Concierge
The real front line where you could be the first and last person our guests will meet. A warm efficient welcome will give each of our guests that “special” feeling. In this department you will check in our guests, group check in our block bookings, produce accounts, handle cash, allocate bedrooms and deal with our guest queries.

Switchboard and Reservations
The nerve centre of the rooms division where you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the switchboard. The reservations team has a strategic role to play in the management of our rooms. A fully computerised system helps us to maximise on our yield.

Night Managers and Night Audit
The Night Auditors have highly responsible roles where they analyse the business of the day.  This crucial role is ideal for those who enjoy responsibility.
The Night Manager assumes the role of the General Manager during the night and is in total control of the hotel.  Security, guest requests and check in are only some of the tasks which fall under this vital position.

Housekeeping
This department covers a number of career opportunities such as Housekeepers, Room attendants, Laundry attendants, House Cleaners and House Porters.  All of these positions are related to the cleaning and management of the cleaning for the entire hotel and as such high personal standards are required from all staff in this area.

Lounge Bar and Room Service
Front line departments where Customer Care is our prime concern.  These are two very busy departments, which operate on a shift system.

Rowans Restaurant
A fine dining restaurant which enjoys many accolades and an international reputation.  Rowans serves high quality food throughout the day.

Kitchen
The heart of the whole hotel operation where high standards of exciting, nutritious and fresh food is produced for all of the food outlets.  As well as the preparation and cooking of food we actively encourage our team to get deeply involved in the management of the department.  The dedication of skill of our kitchen team has led the hotel to winning gold medals in many competitions and the coveted two Rosettes for food from the Automobile Association.

Conference and Banqueting
With eleven different conference and banqueting suites, this department plays a key role in our business.  We cater for International conferences, product launches, training courses, wedding receptions, dinner parties and a whole range of social events.

The Brasserie at the Keller
An exciting venue with live music at weekends and a wide range of quality food at inexpensive prices.
The Brasserie is a lively department where our team needs to enjoy live music and have the ability to work in a very busy environment.

Après Night Club
Après Night Club has a strict dress and age code and is available only for residents and club members.  A unique light show linked with good music makes this a really fun venue in which to work.

Waves Leisure Club
Yet another leisure facility designed for those guests who want to relax and those who want to work out.  A wide range of facilities includes a pool, children’s paddling pool, sauna, solaria, steam room and a fully equipped air-conditioned gym area.

Maintenance
Our bedrooms, function suites, night club, kitchen, leisure club and other facilities all need constant attention to ensure that they are fully operational for our guests.  That’s where our maintenance team provides such vital support.  Multi skilled engineers will carry our daily checks in all areas to ensure everything is working for our guests.

Sales and Marketing
The Sales Department is at the forefront of securing future business for the entire hotel.  The creation of new packages, brochures and advertising are all part of the role of our team in this department.  The team are our ambassadors when they call on prospective clients to sell the product we have to offer. 

Accounts
Our Accounts team always have an eye for detail controlling the revenue and payment for the whole operation.  As a self-accounting unit the department produces daily revenue reports, budgets, credit control, purchasing, management accounts and annual profit and loss accounts.

HR and Training  
This department is responsible for the recruitment, development and well being of all of our staff.  As a company recognised as an Investor in People we pay particular attention to the continuous development of management and staff alike.
