The hotel is happy to support those wishing to study towards a hospitality related NVQ.
National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) are nationally recognised qualifications which demonstrate the skills and knowledge needed to do a job.
NVQs are work related, competence based qualifications that enable employees to build and develop their skills to meet our business needs.
No previous qualifications are required to undertake an NVQ and are available for all ages, and at any career stage. However, certain criteria may apply regarding your current qualifications.
We are happy to consider and support qualifications gained externally, if they are relevant to the job you are doing.
There are plenty of training courses available, and you will automatically attend anything relevant to your role, ie Food Hygiene, customer service etc. We utilise the skills and experiences of our managers to create Training Champions who run in house training courses.
We will consider applications for traineeships and industrial placements on an individual basis.
