Ceremonies

If you aren’t planning on a church wedding, then the Coppid Beech is a superb option for your ceremony. Our licensed rooms, the Pine Suite, the Juniper and the Sequoia Suite are all highly flexible space, capable of hosting smaller intimate weddings as well as comfortably accommodating larger groups of up to 150 guests. It has proved a very popular alternative to Registry Office ceremonies – particularly for second marriages, secular marriages and renewal of vows ceremonies. A room hire charge would apply for the use of one of our suites for a ceremony, prices are available on request.

We are able to help you to decorate the Pine Suite, The Sequoia Suite and the Juniper Suite and can also help you to arrange for music in the room. Bookings for most of these additional services can be made through the hotel, but it should be noted that the services of the Registrar must be made directly with the Registry Office (details below).

The services of the registrar are currently charged as follows:
Monday - Friday £200, Saturday £250, Sunday £300.

This amount will need to be paid to the registrar at the time of booking and a small statutory fee will also apply to cover the notice of marriage and the marriage certificate and couples are required to liase with the register office for further information.
