I Got Soul Presents ‘Good4 Tha Soul’ Biography Good4ThaSoul is the coming together of four of the UK’s most iconic figures in dance music: Brandon Block, Ricky Morrison, Bobby & Steve and Ronnie Herel.
Brandon Block is one of the UK’s most enduring DJ personalities and an Ibiza legend. As the first resident of Space’s terrace in 1991 alongside Alex P, Brandon helped define the Balearic spirit and transformed daytime clubbing forever. With global residencies from Dubai to Thailand, chart success under his Blockster alias, and countless TV and radio appearances.
Ricky Morrison, one half of the groundbreaking M&S Productions, is a name synonymous with house music excellence. From early residencies at London’s most influential clubs to his production of underground classics and chart hits such as “Salsoul Nugget”, Ricky has shaped the sound of dance music for more than three decades his DJ sets continue to inspire audiences worldwide.
Bobby & Steve, pioneers of soulful house since the 1980s, first made their mark with London’s legendary Zoo and Garage City parties before launching Groove Odyssey, a brand that continues to define soulful house on a global scale. With residencies at Ministry of Sound, their own record label, festival stages worldwide and their acclaimed radio presence.
Ronnie Herel has been at the epicentre of UK club culture for over thirty years. From his groundbreaking shows on BBC 1Xtra and Radio 1 to his current residency on Mi-Soul, he has been a vital tastemaker and champion of new music. As a DJ, promoter and recording artist, Ronnie has filled dancefloors worldwide, interviewed legends such as Stevie Wonder and Lionel Richie, scored MOBO nominations, and released chart-topping tracks.
Together, these four forces of nature have created Good4ThaSoul, a unique DJ showcase where up to eight decks are in play, blending their individual styles into a seamless journey through soulful, funky and uplifting house. More than just collaboration, Good4ThaSoul is a celebration of the roots, the legacy and the future of house and soul.
