About you...

As our Receptionist, we need you to have experience in a fast-paced environment so you can jump straight in. Able to work using your own initiative, exceptional customer service and organisational skills are key.

Your role includes everything from initial enquiries and check in of our guests, through to check out after their stay. You will be friendly, trustworthy and of smart appearance. You will take pride in looking after our hotel and guests throughout the day and ensure it is welcoming at all times.

We are a very busy corporate hotel during the week, but the weekend is where it really takes off with parties, afternoon teas and weddings!

We have a fun inclusive environment in the hotel where you can show off your skills and add value to our team.

Ideally you will have experience with a hotel system such as Opera, but we provide you with on-going training & development. From on-line modules you can access at any time, to personalised plans to help you meet your aspirations.

Working on a casual basis you will have the flexibility to work around your other commitments.

The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a hotel environment. From welcoming guests to taking food and drink orders or serving behind one of our bars and setting up rooms for events, you will enjoy a varied, busy role.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to clean and maintain our vast collection of fish tanks at the Coppid Beech Hotel. Our aquarium features nine impressive 3-meter-wide tanks, along with a smaller 2-meter tank.

This role involves weekly cleaning, feeding the fish, and collaborating with our experts to ensure the well-being of our aquatic residents.

About you

This unique and vital position is crucial to us, as our fish are at the heart of our hotel and beloved by our guests. Ideally, candidates will have prior experience managing large fish tanks at home or working in the aquarium industry. However, if you have a passion for fish and possess the necessary skills and dedication, we would love to hear from you.
